Biography:

Prof. dr. habil. DLA, Architect- stage designer

Graduated from the Technical University of Budapest, Faculty of Architecture, in 1976.
-
In 1980 she won a scholarship at the Banff School of Fine Arts in Canada and attended the Joseph Svoboda Master’s Course. 1991-1993 lived in Montreal, she was teaching set design at Concordia University and the National Theatre School of Canada, where she teaches a course entitled 'The Spiritual Language of Space' until this day. She has worked for Canadian Theatres.

Between 1994 and 2002 she is the designer for the National Theatre in Gyor. She was awarded the Jaszai Mari prize in 2001.

In 2002 she won her Doctor of Liberal Arts Degree and since then has been the director for the Scenic Arts Department at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, became the Rector of the University in 2016.

In 2009 she won the silver price of the World Stage Design in Seoul.

At the Prague Quadriennale 2011 she was a member of the team of 5 authors winning the Gold Medal for the Best conception.

In 2011 she became professor.
